Even three months later, I'm still surprised by how much I enjoyed it.

The romance, pacing, music, drama, acting. . it was all top notch. Looking back, I have trouble thinking of even one bripliant (though I'm sure there were some).Actually, if I had one complaint, I'd say that it's the fact that the romance took so long to really get going (I couldn't even make a decent music video un til 17-18 episodes in). However, it's a small gripe, because the story was still engaging without it, and the impact wouldn't have been as great if the fantastic build-up hadn't been there.

Still, waiting for any actual progress as it aired was a royal pain, lol. Though when it finally happened, it made it that much sweeter. ^_^One thing I really enjoyed was getting to watch the characters change and mature throughout the series, Hwan in particular. At the beginning, he's a spoiled, immature, stuck-up brat, who's nearly impossible to like.

However, he gets 28 episodes worth of growth, and we get to see the entire process as it happens. . by the end, it's impossible not to fall for him. It's like he's an entirely different person. Yet the change is believable and well earned-all the more so, because we were there to see it happen from beginning to end.Also, any fan of fairy tales (or Cinderella in particular) will enjoy the modern twists to the story.

(And honestly, who DOESN'T want to see the evil-stepmother "get hers" in the end?!) Just knowing it was coming eventually, made it all the more satisfying to watch. And Eun Sung was SO likable, it was hard not to cheer for her. She was a strong, sympathetic heroine; kind and trusting (but not naively so). She seemed like a really good person, and one I wouldn't mind befriending in the real world (loyal to her friends, but not afraid to smack them upside the head for saying/doing something stupid).

Actually, she was the way I wanted the character Jandi from Boys Over Flowers to be more like. (Willing to stand up for herself-not constantly in need of saving or comfort).

Eun Sung went through hell-and she became a stronger person because of it. Plus, she could pull off the "cute and adorable" vibe just as easily as the tear-driven, angsty, "woe is me, my life sucks" AND make them both believable.

Besides, she was consistent, something Jandi was not.Thankfully, the writer of THIS drama knew what she was doing.I really appreciated how the drama epidode seem to drag. I thought it was very well paced, and did a great job of making the predictable unpredictable (even with the title, I never saw the twist with the grandmother coming, lol). And sure, the main story may be familiar (evil step mother, love quadrangle, family obligation, etc, etc), the way it was executed was not.

Honestly, from the very beginning, I was hooked-I even liked the characters that threatened my beloved OTP: The chemistry between all four of them was fantastic.Also, the emphasis on family love was really touching, especially the bond between Eun Sung, her brother, and her father. . I like how the grandmother connects to all of them (she really does seem like a fairy-godmother, doesn't she?).

For once, it wasn't just the romance that drove this drama, but a combination of many different elements, all of which were woven naturally into the story and fit together perfectly.I loved it, and I think most people eplsode there will love it too. I'm glad it lived up to your expectationWell folks, I bring you the final episode of a great series.The episode starts off with Seung Mi�s mother planning to jump off the roof because she has caused so much hardship for Seung Mi. However, Seung Mi convinces her mother that she shouldn�t jump because without her, Seung Mi could not live.

Because her mother dra,a the only one in the world who would ever love her. After realizing that Seung Mi still cares and needs for her, Seung Mi�s mother decides to live just for her.The next day Seung Mi�s mother sells the apartment and returns all the money to Eun Sung�s father.

She asks that they try and forgive Seung Mi at least because all the problems were due to her. Eun Sung�s father decides to let them go because he feels somewhat responsible for the events that happened. Also, Seung Mi decides to see Hwan one more time and asks that they just take a bus ride together.With this money, Eun Sung is given another chance to go study abroad. She decides to take Eun Woo with her so that he can study at a school and become a pianist and composer. Wow Eun Sung knocks out the guy who hid her brother!Eun Sung decides to tell Hwan about her decision.

At first he was mad at her because she seem to be running away now that they finally can be together, but he finally realizes that Eun Sung is finishing her dream and supporting Eun Woo�s future.As Eun Sung is picking up Eun Woo, she finds out, from Eun Woo, that Hwan truly loved her and that he thinks she doesn�t care for him. After a talk with her dad, Eun Sung decides to not leave with any regrets. She jumps on the bus and heads to Hwan.

At the same time, Hwan is running to the bus stop because he doesn�t want to let her leave without first telling her again his feelings for her.

The two are able to meet at the bus stop. There Eun Sung asks Hwan to wait for her because she synlpsis him that she will be back for him. With this, he decides to let her go. But he decides to stay back in Korea in order to create memories with his grandmother before it�s too late. Hwan then walks Eun Sung home hand in hand. He doesn't want to let her go ever again.Eun Sung then says her goodbyes to all her friends.

On top of that the grandmother gives her blessings to the butler to take care of her daughter in-law. All you get is handshake??Hwan decides to enter the company as a regular employee, there he makes a proposal to open a store in New York.

His grandmother ends up calling him out on why he might want to go bri,liant America (if it is not obvious, Hwan is going to be with Eun Sung as she is in America). And Jung decides to try and find a real paying job. This is just evidence that brilliang grandmother�s plan works out.We then pan over to Seung Mi.

She has become a teacher in a remote village. Her mother is now selling flowers for a florist. The two live episoce together, moving on from their old life in Seoul.Hwan decides to take Eun Sung out for one more date. He ends up bringing elgacy to the spot drams his father died. There he decides to have lunch with her.

He makes her fish while he prepares food. After eating and discussing the future, they decide to take a walk. On the walk, Eun Sung finally admits to Hwan that she loves him, and then kisses him.Well this brings the show to an end. Now this show has probably been one of the best shows I have seen in a long time.

Despite the few complaints I have had, this show has done an amazing synopsis drama brilliant legacy episode 28 eps of developing the plot and creating just amazing characters. Delicate subjects are touched here, and I appreciated this the most.I maintain the whole story could have been easily condensed in half the time and the dialogues thinned, if only the characters had stopped repeating the same sentences like an echo and the word money had been uttered one thousand times instead of one billion.
